The presidium of the second session of the 17th Changzhou Municipal People鈥檚 Congress, Changzhou鈥檚 local legislature, held its fourth meeting on Sunday afternoon.

Executive chairpersons of the presidium, including Chen Jinhu, Bai Yunping, Han Jiuyun, Fang Guoqiang, Xu Zheng, Chen Zhengchun, Dai Shifu, Xu Xinmin and Gao Honghua, attended the meeting.

Mayor Sheng Lei was present as a non-voting attendee at the meeting.

Presided over by the congress鈥� executive vice chairperson Xu Zheng, the meeting heard all delegations鈥� reviews on the Government Work Report 2022, the draft plan on local economic and social development and the draft local budgets for 2023.

Deputies to the congress believed that under the strong leadership of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, the city will march toward the one-trillion-yuan GDP goal and play a growing role in promoting the Chinese path to modernization.

The deputies also put forward their views and suggestions on Changzhou鈥檚 past policies and future plans.
