On Tuesday, the Organizing Committee of the 16th Changzhou Games announced that the event's opening, initially slated for April 22, has been postponed to Saturday, April 29 at 9:00 a.m.
The 16th Changzhou Games will feature 110 competitions in seven sports divisions, with 18 competitions adjusted or added. Notable changes include the addition of physical fitness and roller hockey to the youth sports division, as well as poker games and square dance in the elderly division, and kayaking and motorbike track-cross in the public division. This year's Games will involve over 60,000 participants.
The rescheduling of the opening ceremony will allow for necessary adjustments to be made and ensure the event runs smoothly. The Organizing Committee remains committed to hosting a successful and safe 16th Changzhou Games.
