Jiangsu Jinsheng Group, a Changzhou-based high-end equipment manufacturing company, began construction of an intelligent machinery industrial park in the Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone on Aug 28, Urumqi Evening News reported.

The intelligent machinery industrial park, which will cover an area of 60,000 square meters and amounts to an investment of 600 million yuan ($89.83 million), is expected to achieve annual sales of 3 billion yuan after it starts operations in 2017.

After the completion of the park, it will mainly undertake computer numerical control manufacturing, work which utilizes industrial robots, textile engineering, and 3D printing.

The park will help to expand Xinjiang’s manufacturing industry and promote its transformation and upgrading.

Jinsheng is a diversified industrial group with a focus on high-end manufacturing equipment. Jinsheng’s business includes manufacturing machinery, textile engineering, bio-engineering, construction and the real estate industry.

The group is headquartered in the city of Changzhou, Jiangsu province; and it operates 77 factories and branches all over the world. Currently, the group’s businesses operate in more than 132 countries and regions.
