From August 22 to 25, the 2023 Cross-Strait Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in Changzhou. A total of 120 projects were shortlisted, with 12 projects signing agreements to settle in Changzhou's West Taihu Science and Technology Industrial Park.
This year's competing projects focused on electronic information, intelligent manufacturing, healthcare, new energy, new materials, modern agriculture, modern services and other industries. They were closely aligned with Jiangsu's industrial clusters and had strong complementary value. After intense contests in the preliminary and final rounds, 28 projects ultimately stood out, including 4 first prizes, 8 second prizes, and 16 third prizes. The competition attracted a high proportion of high-level talent, with 67 PhDs and 100 Masters among the core teams, who hold a total of 163 patents.
