This year is the 120th anniversary of the birth of Liu Haisu. On June 17th, the commemorative event themed with "Mountains Beyond Mountains" was held in the West Taihu Art Gallery in Wujin.

On the morning of June 17th, Liu Chan, the daughter of Liu Haisu, Ke Wenhui, researcher of China Art Research Institute and the author of the first work of Liu Haisu: The Biography, and Ye Kangning, art history master tutor of Changzhou University, participated in the forum and delivered speeches.

In addition, Liu Haisu’s last female student Liu Zhaojun held a Chinese Painting Exhibition in West Taihu Lake Art Gallery, and donated 52 works on the site, including 16 collections of famous artists and 36 individual works.
