On October 14th, the Research and Protection Center for Women and Children’s Rights was established in Changzhou, jointly initiated by the municipal Women’s Federation and Shi Liang School of Law of Changzhou University.
The center will conduct in-depth investigations and research on the key, challenging, and trending issues in safeguarding the rights of women and children throughout Changzhou. It aims to explore new initiatives and approaches in safeguarding rights. This includes organizing education lectures and thematic forums, participating in the assessment of gender equality in laws and policies and prioritizing children’s benefits. These efforts will effectively enhance the city’s theoretical research and practical application capabilities in safeguarding the rights of women and children.
