Changzhou Power Supply Company helped local enterprises complete nearly 50 energy-saving projects within two years, achieving the annual electricity savings of more than 80 million degrees. Representatives of German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) recently made a special trip to Changzhou for energy efficiency cooperation project between China and Germany, and expressed their will of further cooperation.

The first team of energy-efficient network system of China Grid was initiated on April 13, 2011 in Changzhou. In August 2012, the country's first energy-saving club was established in Changzhou, which has involved 100 Changzhou high energy consumption enterprises.
