On December 19, Changzhou Municipal People’s Government hosted the 2021 Changzhou-Shenzhen Science and Technology Capital Roundtable Forum in Shenzhen on December 17. 

More than 20 guests from Shenzhen's investment sector participated in the forum. Shen Lei, acting mayor of Changzhou, attended the event and delivered a speech.

Marking the two cities’ long-term cooperation in the industrial sector, Sheng noted that a group of companies listed in the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, including Xinwei Communication Technology, FRD Science & Technology, and AAC Technologies, have launched projects in Changzhou with investments up to 1.58 billion yuan.

She mentioned that a number of Shenzhen-based venture capital corporations have established 14 sci-tech foundations or angel investment funds in Changzhou, which have invested in or helped nurture 89 sci-tech projects locally.

At the forum, Changzhou signed a group of projects with financial institutions such as Shenzhen Capital Group Co., Ltd. (SCGC), Shenzhen Green Pine Capital Partners Co. Ltd., and China Venture Capital Co., Ltd.
