On April 4th, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Finance released the proposed list of national modern agricultural industrial parks for 2023. Changzhou's Jintan Modern Agricultural Industrial Park has been included in this list.

This park is focused mainly on rice cultivation, with river crabs as a unique specialty. It has a solid foundation and exceptional development potential, covering an area of 248,000 mu (approximately 16,533 hectares) and encompassing five towns and sub-districts.

Its construction plan, which includes "one center, four areas, and four bases," has been approved, with a total planned investment of 3.11 billion yuan. The aim of the project is to consolidate superior resources into the industrial park and provide a replicable and scalable experience reference for promoting the modernization of agriculture and rural areas.
