As one of the series of activities of Macao youth celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 20th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland, the 100-member Macao youth delegation headed by Dr. Leong Vai Tac, secretary of Economy and Finance of Macao Special Administrative Region, visited Changzhou from July 16 to 17.

Wang Quan, secretary of CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, accompanied the delegation to visit the Jiangsu-Macao Cooperation Park, Lanyue Bay and Flower Expo Park.

Wang said that Changzhou and Macao have always maintained a deep friendship. The two sides have carried out exchanges and cooperation in the fields of economy, education, culture and tourism. Through the construction of Jiangsu-Macao Cooperation Park, Changzhou will strive to set a successful example of comprehensive cooperation between Macao and the cities on Chinese mainland under the framework of "one country, two systems".

Leong Vai Tac said that this trip is an innovative combination of patriotic education, youth work and "double celebration". He will share the experiences with more friends in Macao to provide a better environment for young people.

City leaders Fang Guoqiang and Li Lin accompanied the delegates on their visit.
