On February 19, the third board meeting of the ninth session of Changzhou Red Cross was held in the Administration Center. It was reported that there is a rolling balance of 11,006,600 yuan of restricted donations over the years, which will be fully converted to the city's first Red Cross Humanitarian Relief Foundation and operated according to the Red Cross Humanitarian Relief Fund Management Regulation.

It was learned from the meeting that in 2014 Changzhou will constantly implement the One Million Nonprofit Emergency Ambulance Training Program of Jiangsu Province and is expected to train a total of 7,000 primary ambulance crew members.

This year, Changzhou will establish a long-term training center based on universities, communities, national defense parks, etc. and start launching Red Cross first aid kits in communities, transportation networks and accident-prone areas; popularize the knowledge of emergency rescue among the public and organize regular supervision to coordinate and solve difficulties and issues encountered in training.

Jiangsu Province has carried out the project for three consecutive years, of which Changzhou accomplished training of 70,000 people over the past two years, including 8,074 junior ambulance personnel and 62,943 people attending emergency knowledge training, 115.34% and 110.43% respectively in the completion rate, ranking second around the province.
