On September 4, Jiangsu province reported no new locally transmitted case of Covid-19.

Two confirmed cases and an asymptomatic carrier, all inbound, were newly reported in the province.

An asymptomatic carrier was released from medical observation.

Twelve confirmed cases (two local and ten inbound) are still undergoing treatment at designated hospitals, while 62 asymptomatic carriers (31 local and 31 inbound) are currently under medical observation in isolation.

As of this update, China's list of virus transmission zones stands at 2,053 high-risk, 1,727 medium-risk and 319 low-risk areas.
