On April 7th, the Super Capacitor Energy Storage Technology Research Institute of Supreme Power Systems was established in the Black Peony Technology Park.

The institute is working with Black Peony to develop a flexible super capacitor which is not only knittable and wearable, but can also collect the kinetic energy of human body.

"The institute will also develop the technology of high-performance small-supercapacitor, MEMS micro-supercapacitor, and so on, in order to build  Supreme Power Systems into an international leader in super capacitor production," said Chen Shengjun, president of Supreme Power Systems Co., Ltd. The Institute plans to invest no less than 50 million yuan in five years into the research of super capacitor energy storage technology.

It is learned that Supreme Power Systems has established two large-scale production bases in Beijing and Changzhou, supplying 10 product categories, four super-capacitor production lines, and two module and system production lines. Its customers came from 23 countries and regions.
