On June 29, 2016, the 13th Innovation & Entrepreneurship Fair for Overseas Talents in Changzhou was opened. Wang Chengbin, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and director of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

Approximately 63 high-level professionals from 20 countries and regions attended the Fair along with 76 projects seeking cooperation. These projects are involved in the areas of intelligent equipment, the Internet and electronic information, new materials, new energy, new medicine, etc. These professionals will participate in matchmaking events together with the city’s relevant industrial parks, incubators and private enterprises.

In the previous 12 sessions of the Fair, more than 200 projects reached cooperation intents in Changzhou, and over 60 high-level personnel at home and abroad became the city's leading talents, five of which were selected into the 1000 Talents Program of China.
