17th China•Changzhou International Animation & Digital Arts Festival kicks off

On the morning of October 27, the 17th China•Changzhou International Animation and Digital Arts Festival & China•Jiangsu Forum for High-Quality Development of Gaming Industry kicked off at the Oriental Saltlake Resort.

Zhang Aijun, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and director of the Provincial Publicity Department, Jiao Jianjun, director of the Provincial Press & Publication Administration and the Provincial Film Administration, and Wang Jian, vice chairman of Jiangsu Federation of Literary and Art Circles, as well as many leaders and representatives in film and animation industries, attended the opening ceremony. Qi Jiabin, secretary of CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, delivered the opening remarks. Chen Tao, director of the Municipal Publicity Department, hosted the ceremony.

The annual Changzhou International Animation & Digital Arts Festival, based on the national-level Changzhou Creative Industries Base, serves to promote original work, tell the Chinese stories and strengthen our cultural confidence. It aims to build an animation and film platform for collection, release and exhibition of original works, in order to connect relevant programs and creative ideas to investors and market.  

A number of projects in the animation industry chain, including rendering and distribution of animated films, promotion and release of films at movie theaters, and development of video games, were signed at the opening ceremony.

The China•Jiangsu Forum for High-Quality Development of Gaming Industry was held at the same time.
