Between October 23rd-25th, a 14-member women’s delegation of Namyangju, South Korea visited Changzhou for friendly exchanges.

On the afternoon of October 24th, Jia Baozhong, deputy director of Changzhou Municipal People's Congress, met with the delegation at the Administration Center. Yun Shuang, deputy director of the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, and Yu Qiaoxi, vice chairwoman of the Municipal Women's Federation, attended the meeting.

During the visit, the delegation visited Changzhou Hongxi Experimental Kindergarten and watched performances by children. Gu Wenqin, principal of the kindergarten, introduced their curriculum and characteristics to the delegation. Yu Qiaoxi briefed Changzhou’s practice on women's rights and development.

The delegates appreciated Changzhou’s efforts on the work for women and children, and expressed their will to strengthen the exchanges among women's organizations of the two cities, in order to learn from each other's good practices and experiences.
