Recently, reporters learned from the Government Affairs Service Center that the office of Changzhou Food and Drug Administration (CZFDA) is taking steps to push ahead online proceeding of all procedures, aiming at 100% online service within this year.

Accordingly, CZFDA is going to popularize online application and carry out online preliminary examination. The number of items which can be proceeded online is increased from six to eight, covering the entire process. The results of examination and approval is delivered by express so that the applicants do not have to come all the way to pick up documents.

In addition, to simplify the process and improve the efficiency of online service, CZFDA is currently sorting and adjusting the items related to the application and examination of business licenses and permits of drug retailers, Good Supply Practice (GSP) certificates, business permits of class-Ⅲ medical devices, food business licenses (including food service and health food), food production licenses, etc.
