The Ministry of Culture and Tourism recently announced the list of main venues and demonstration spots for the upcoming "Seasonal Village Evening Galas" program in 2023. Jiaze, a town located in Wujin district, has been chosen as a national demonstration spot for the Spring "Village Evening Galas," making it the sole location in Changzhou to receive this recognition.

The concept of "Seasonal Village Evening Galas" encompasses cultural evening events specifically designed for rural areas, celebrating the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn, and winter. These galas provide a platform to showcase local artistic performances and cultural activities that embody the distinctive charm and spirit of the countryside.

Jiaze is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, and at the center of the town lies the Jiaze Zhuangyuanfang Cultural Tourism Area. Located around Dayou Street, this area features captivating attractions such as the Zhuangyuanfang, which honors the highest achievers in the ancient Chinese imperial examinations. Additionally, visitors can explore an ancient opera stage, Wenchang Pavilion, and Sanyuan Pond. This exceptional cultural hub has achieved recognition as a 2A-level tourist attraction in China.
