On August 7, Jiangsu province reported no new locally transmitted case of Covid-19.

Two confirmed cases and one asymptomatic carrier, all inbound, were newly reported in the province.

Another hospitalized Covid-19 patient was discharged, while three asymptomatic carriers were released from medical observation.

Eleven confirmed cases (one local and ten inbound) are still undergoing treatment at designated hospitals, while 19 asymptomatic carriers (three local and 16 inbound) are currently under medical observation in isolation.

As of this update, China's list of virus transmission zones stands at 502 high-risk and 861 medium-risk areas.
