On September 19, Jiangsu province reported no new locally transmitted or symptomless cases of Covid-19.

One confirmed case and four asymptomatic carriers, all inbound, were newly reported in the province.

Three hospitalized Covid-19 patients were discharged, while six asymptomatic carriers were released from medical observation.

Fifteen confirmed cases (four local and 11 inbound) are still undergoing treatment at designated hospitals, while 36 asymptomatic carriers (six local and 30 inbound) are currently under medical observation in isolation.

As of this update, China's list of virus transmission zones stands at 817 high-risk, 908 medium-risk, and 134 low-risk areas.
