A Japanese company has invested 36 million USD in Changzhou to set up a company cultivating high-grade mushrooms

Ichimasa Agricultural Technology (Changzhou) Co., Ltd., which is solely invested by Japanese Ichimasa Kamaboko Co., Ltd., officially opened on October 23rd at Changzhou Hi-tech Zone. This company is the first foreign-invested agricultural enterprise settling in Hi-tech Zone. The total investment is 36 million USD. The company will apply industrial soilless technology to cultivate high-grade edible mushrooms.

It is learned that Japanese Ichimasa Kamaboko Co., Ltd. is a listed Japanese company. Its main products include mushrooms and raw materials for Japanese hot pot and oden. It has won several awards such as the Prize of Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan and the Gold Prize of Prefecture Economic Promotion. As the demand of the Chinese market for healthy food increases continuously, after several investigations, Ichimasa Kamaboko Co., Ltd. finally decided to settle down at Changzhou Hi-tech Zone.
