The press conference for the prestigious badminton tournament, the HSBC BWF World Tour Super 1000 - Victor China Open 2023, took place in Changzhou on August 11.

Scheduled to run from September 5 to September 10 at the Changzhou Olympic Sports Centre, this year's event is jointly hosted by the Chinese Badminton Association and organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Sport and the Changzhou Municipal People鈥檚 Government.

Under the theme "Feather Flight, Future Bright," the tournament's outcomes will count towards qualification points for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Bringing together the world's top 15 singles players and the top 10 doubles teams according to world rankings, the competition has already attracted over 300 athletes from 30 countries and regions, as of the registration deadline on July 28.

Changzhou is fully prepared to welcome the tournament by fine-tuning ticket sales, accommodations, dining options, security, and other VIP services in accordance with the BWF's standards. Moreover, a range of complementary activities is also lined up to enhance the overall experience.
