After 2 and half years’ construction, EMAG (Jintan) Machinery Co., Ltd. saw its opening ceremony yesterday. Mr. Chen Huiren, Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of China Machine Tool Industry Association, Mayor Fei Gaoyun and the President of EMAG Group were present and delivered a speech each.

Mr. Xu Xinmin, Secretary-General of Changzhou Municipal People’s Government, also attended the ceremony.

On behalf of Changzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, Fei Gaoyun extended the congratulation to the completion of EMAG (Jintan). He pointed out that the opening of EMAG (Jintan) would give new vitality to Changzhou’s open economy. He hoped that the enterprise could regard this as a new start point, fully take advantage of the opportunity brought by the construction of Southern Jiangsu modernization demonstration area, develop stronger and larger, and play a more important role in promoting the economic growth of the county and the industrial development of the city.

It is learned that EMAG Group of Germany was established in 1867. It is the inventor of inversion type machine in the world. Currently, its products take 50% share of the European market, and 20% of Chinese market. It has over 200 international patents, and is a world famous supplier of high-end gears, gear boxes and high-speed train wheel processing equipments. 70% of its products serve for famous auto brands such as Benz, BMW and Porsche.

On the same day, EMAG (Jintan) Machinery Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Shuanglong Gear Co., Ltd. signed an agreement on supplying 22 machines.
