On January 9, it was revealed that the 2024 Jiangsu Provincial Major Projects List has been disclosed. Changzhou boasts a total of 42 selected projects, with an annual planned investment of 31.5 billion yuan.

Among these projects, 30 are significant industrial projects, and 20 fall within the realm of strategic emerging industries. There are four municipal-level projects, ten in Jintan district, nine in the Changzhou National High-Tech District, six each in Liyang city and Wujin district, five in the Changzhou Economic Development Zone, and two each in Tianning and Zhonglou districts, including two jointly applied projects.

Notably, Jintan has achieved a historical high in the number of selected projects this year, amounting to a total investment of 15.36 billion yuan. These projects span strategic emerging industries, modern services, and modern agriculture, with new energy industry chain projects accounting for over 80%.

Since last year, Jintan has diligently executed the city鈥檚 "532" development strategy, concentrating on establishing a collaborative investment promotion mechanism. In 2023, Jintan witnessed the signing of 126 industrial projects, with an agreed investment totaling 42.04 billion yuan, thereby further solidifying the foundation for its developmental objectives.
