From August 31 to September 1, Changzhou city and Zhonglou district leaders Yang Fen, Shen Dong and Qian Yunjie visited Shenzhen to seek closer and higher-level cooperation with the city’s key enterprises.

China Everbright Greentech Limited, specializing in environmental protection and new energy technologies, set up its headquarters for environmental restoration projects in Zhonglou district last year, which will provide funds, talents and technologies in the areas of ecological restoration and green development for Changzhou and other cities nearby. Yang Fen, vice mayor of Changzhou, said that Changzhou is currently formulating the 14th five-year plan with the goal of becoming a beautiful and livable star city. She hoped that, based on the established cooperation, Everbright Greentech and Changzhou will work together for mutually beneficial development.

Appotronics Corporation Limited, a world leading enterprise in laser display field, established a movie theatre equipment base in Zhonglou, which includes production lines for laser projectors and movie screens, and an after-sales center for light sources. After putting into operation, the base is expected to have an annual output value of about one billion yuan. Shen Dong, secretary of CPC Zhonglou District Committee, said that Zhonglou is making efforts to revitalize its old downtown area by promoting nighttime economy, which can make good use of Appotronics’ laser display technology.

During the stay in Shenzhen, the delegation also visited Leaguer Group Co., Ltd. and had an in-depth discussion on cooperation.
