On August 14, the inauguration of the Israeli Talents' Journey in Changzhou and the China-Israel Youth S&T Innovation Camp marked the start of an engaging initiative at the China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park (CICP).
Sheng Lei, mayor of Changzhou Municipal People's Government, Ravit Baer, consul general of Israel in Shanghai, and Zhao Zhongxiu, chancellor of the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), collectively inaugurated the event and delivered their respective speeches.
The China-Israel Youth S&T Innovation Camp encompasses specialized training and company internships. Over the course of four weeks, 21 Israeli students from UIBE will partake in this camp, expanding their expertise in innovation and entrepreneurship through lectures, field studies, and various activities. This endeavor also grants them a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of Changzhou and explore the city's remarkable new energy industries.
CICP, an innovation demonstration park jointly established by the Chinese and Israeli governments, is proactively fostering collaborative educational programs. In recent years, it has introduced preferential talent policies designed for China-Israel initiatives and established an international talent community within the park.
Currently, CICP boasts 208 joint ventures and has nurtured 48 science and technology projects, establishing a framework for the collective development of innovative projects in conjunction with nationwide scientific and technological cooperation.
