On the afternoon of December 22, the 10th anniversary of LiuGong East R&D Center was held in Wujin district of Changzhou. Liang Yibo, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and vice mayor of the Municipal People’s Government, and Huang Haibo, president of Guangxi LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd., attended the event.

LiuGong is a multinational construction machinery manufacturing company headquartered in Liuzhou city, Guangxi province. Founded in 1958, it is currently the world’s 10th largest construction equipment manufacturer. Its products include wheelloaders, bulldozers, forklifts, motor graders, excavators, rollers, crawler cranes, trucks, conveyors, mining machines, etc.

In May 2010, LiuGong established its East R&D Center in Wujin National High-Tech Industrial Zone (WIZ). In the first step of the project, the 120,000-square meter-large facility is dedicated to the development, production and sales of excavators and bulldozers, as well as businesses of mining machinery like crushing and screening equipment.

In August 2020, the Center commenced its second-step project with workshops covering 170,000 square meters. The target is to build the East R&D Center into LiuGong’s most advanced R&D, production, sales and service base within three to four years.
