On August 17, the Changzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism announced that 23 projects in Changzhou have received support from a new round of the Jiangsu provincial tourism development fund. These projects have secured a total loan amount of 229 million yuan, representing 17.13 percent of the overall fund. This achievement marks the city's consecutive four-year position as the highest recipient within the province.
In recent years, Changzhou has efficiently utilized support funds at different levels. Through activities like policy interpretation and specialized training, the city has enhanced its efforts in promoting policies, thereby improving the financing environment for the tourism industry. This has facilitated the industry's transformation, encouraged its growth, and bolstered tourism enterprises.
Among the 23 supported projects in Changzhou through the provincial fund are notable sites like Changdang Lake National Wetland Park, Jizi Cultural Heritage Base, Taihu Bay Camping Valley, Maoshan International Conference Center, Yangtze River National Cultural Park, and Bieqiao Original Village, among others. These projects encompass various sectors including innovation zones, cultural parks, RV camping, tourism exhibitions, and rural revitalization. The planned total investment for these funded projects amounts to 21.763 billion yuan, with 13.271 billion yuan already invested.
