On July 7th, the expert panel of "Made in China 2025 · Jiangsu Sunan Urban Agglomeration Pilot Demonstration" headed by Prof. Chen Ning, vice president and academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, came to Changzhou for investigation.

In the Morning, Mayor Fei Gaoyun had a meeting with the members of the expert panel.

During their stay in Changzhou, Prof. Chen Ning and the panel members visited the Jiangnan Graphene Institute, Jiangsu Hengli Hydraulic Co., Ltd. and CSR Qishuyan Locomotive Co., Ltd.

At present, the above-scale industrial output value of Changzhou has reached more than one trillion yuan. Changzhou’s total industrial economy is ranked in top 30 among prefecture-level cities. In recent years, on the basis of actively promoting the development of ten major industrial chains, Changzhou has been focusing on the development of intelligent equipment manufacturing and new materials industry. The recently issued “Made in China 2025” Changzhou Platform for Action accurately locates the 20 industry segments of five priority areas, which left a deep impression on the panel members.
