Jiangsu New Era Hengxiang Yacht Co., Ltd. and Guizhou Xikai Super Power New Energy Company signed a supply contract of luxury electric yacht with a sum of nearly 200 million yuan last week. The first yacht is expected to be produced in July, which will take a trial in the Tianmu Lake.

This order contains a total of 30 yachts, priced close to 5 million yuan. The maximum capacity is 12 people, with a maximum speed of 46.3 km/h. These yachts are mainly used in lake waters.

Xie Yilou, president of the company, is engaged in the yacht industry in Hainan. In May 2013, China New Era Group Corporation and Hainan Hengxiang Yacht Industry Co., Ltd. together invested 200 million yuan and established Jiangsu New Era Hengxiang Yacht Co., Ltd., aiming to build a influential yacht industry park in Liyang.

"This order has epoch-making significance in the luxury yacht industry, and the Tesla of yachts is about to be born in Liyang," said Xie Yilou.
