Font:〖L M S

On the morning of June 27, Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC) Qishuyan Co. Ltd., in collaboration with Wanbang Digital Energy, began construction on a pioneering microgrid demonstration project at the CRRC Qishuyan facility.

This cutting-edge project integrates three core systems: energy storage, charging, and energy management. Customized to meet the specific electricity demand of the enterprise, the microgrid intelligent platform features a 12.6 MW/25.06 MWh energy storage system, an enterprise-grade charging network, and an advanced energy management system, all meticulously designed to align with the planned transformer capacity.

In recent years, Wanbang Digital Energy has steadfastly pursued goals of green energy utilization and low-carbon development. The company is dedicated to providing industrial parks and enterprises with comprehensive, integrated solutions encompassing solar power generation, energy storage, charging infrastructure, and energy trading. Previously, Wanbang Digital Energy successfully implemented a smart energy microgrid in Changzhou's Fengxiang Industrial Park, showcasing their "solar energy-storage-charging-trading" model.

CRRC Qishuyan operates eight production bases in Changzhou. This latest initiative marks the first instance where Wanbang Digital Energy has developed a systematic "zero-carbon factory" solution for CRRC’s Tiema Factory. This comprehensive plan includes carbon inventory, carbon planning, carbon management, green electricity trading, and carbon certification. It also sets scientifically-based decarbonization targets, energy efficiency enhancement strategies, and emission reduction plans, establishing a "dual carbon" management system aiming for 100% renewable electricity usage.

The microgrid project is set for completion by the end of August and will become operational in early September. Following this, the remaining seven production bases will also adopt similar projects. This significant development is poised to boost both the economic and environmental benefits for CRRC Qishuyan and serve as a model for other enterprises in Changzhou, further advancing the city’s green and low-carbon transformation efforts.
