On July 3rd, it was learned from Changzhou Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision that from April to June, Changzhou carried out a sample inspection on the shirts, T-shirts, dresses and other summer clothing produced by 69 local garment suppliers. The overall qualification rate reached 98.6%.

The inspection checked the fiber content, formaldehyde content, pH, decomposition of carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes, color fastness and so on. The results showed that a batch of shirts produced by Jiangsu Feiyu Garment Co., Ltd. failed in the fiber content test, for the measured results did not match the marked content.

In order to ensure the quality of textile products and protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers, the city’s quality supervision authority will enhance law enforcement and put the substandard enterprises into the blacklist.
