Recently, the China Employment Research Institute (CIER) and Zhaopin.com, one of the most popular career platforms, jointly released the Report on China's Employment Market Prosperity for the second quarter of 2022.

Changzhou, being one of the ten cities with a high CIER index, ranks second in the country and first in Jiangsu province.

The top ten cities are Jiaxing, Changzhou, Ningbo, Wuhan, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Yangzhou, Zhenjiang, Daqing, and Foshan.

The CIER index measures the degree of tension of the matching between supply and demand in the labor market. The larger the index is, the more competitors there are for job vacancies and the more intensive the labor market is.

Going forward, Changzhou will improve the innovative "five-in-one" recruitment service system and make every effort to help college graduates find jobs or start their own businesses through measures including career guidance, job fairs, and employment services on campus.
