After a year of construction and 105 million yuan invested, the Taihu Bay Educational Camp officially opened on the morning of June 28.

The camp covers an area of over 80,000 square meters, capable of receiving 2,500 students per day and providing accommodations for 1,500 students. Offering an immersion-based learning environment, the camp has established a system that combines field practice with the acquisition of knowledge of science and law. Programs such as summer and winter camps, life skills training, military training, graduation tour, family trip and Scientific Innovation Society for elementary and middle school students will provide the participants with various practice and experience.

In recent years, educational travel has become a new type of program popular around the world, of which camps have been playing an important role. Following Wujin district’s plan of establishing a “culture+tourism+education” pattern of industrial development, the Taihu Bay Resort and Changzhou Radio and Television International Travel Service jointly founded the Jiangsu Taihu Bay Educational Travel Co., Ltd.  

At the same time, Changzhou National Defense Education Center, Changzhou Elementary and Middle School Students Comprehensive Practice Center, Wujin District Primary and Secondary School Life Skills Training Center were unveiled at the opening ceremony.
