On February 6, Chenguang (Changzhou) New Material Technology Co., Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony for its green optical material production facility in Xinbei district.

Founded in 2018 as a rising supplier of inorganic optical coatings, Chenguang New Material was selected for the city鈥檚 Longcheng Talent Program 2019. The company鈥檚 new project, with a total investment of 360 million yuan, covers about 3.4 hectares in the Changzhou National High-tech District (CND). It will become the nation鈥檚 first specialized production facility for optical coatings.

Estimated to be put into operation in December this year, the facility鈥檚 output value is expected to surpass 700 million yuan annually.
