On June 24, the Municipal Committee of CPC held a briefing on the comprehensive situation of Changzhou鈥檚 city-industry integration. Han Jiuyun, member of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Standing Committee and executive deputy mayor, announced the report. Wang Chengbin, member of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Standing Committee and chairman of the United Front Department of Changzhou Municipal Committee of CPC, presided over the conference.

Over the past year, Changzhou has implemented a number of large-scale and high-level key projects such as Zotye Auto, Steyr鈥檚 engine, 12301 national smart tourism public service platform, etc. The ten major industrial chains took 33.3% of above-scale industrial output value, while the high-tech industry accounted for 43.4% of above-scale industrial output value.

Meanwhile, Changzhou Airport opened national first-class port; Changzhou-Liyang Expressway and the Changzhou section of Provincial Highway 238 were opened to traffic; the construction of Metro Line 1 was in smooth progress; and the program of national forest city has been carried out according to the planning. In the progress of city-industry integration, Changzhou has been adhering to a people-oriented and innovation-driven approach of reform and development.
