It is learned from the Municipal Tourism Bureau that in the seven-day National Day holiday (known as the Golden Week), the city's 64 scenic spots received a total of 5,642,300 visitors, an increase of more than 8.8%, achieving total income of 310 million yuan, increased by 4.56%.
The Universal Dinosaur Town, as a ‘one-stop resort’ offering a variety of vacation options, received 531,200 visitors during the Golden Week, with a new record of 125,700 visitors received on October 2nd. In addition, along with the development of smart tourism, on-line bookings increased by 15% over last year, of which the sales of ‘Admission Ticket + Hotel’ holiday package increased significantly.
As the branch venue of the 12th China Changzhou International Animation & Digital Arts Festival, the Joyland received more than 148,400 visitors, 80% of which came from the surrounding cities. The admission ticket sales reached 23,783,000 yuan.
Although it was raining during the holiday, the Tianmu Lake Tourist Attraction received 518,800 visitors, with total revenue 61,473,800 yuan, an increase of 3.15% year-on-year.
The newly opened Baosheng Park received more than 10,000 visitors. Unlike the previous years, the Changzhou Museum and Planning Hall also became a hot spot. In particular, the Dunhuang Art Exhibition – Treasures of Silk Road which displayed Cave 45 of Mogao Cave in a 1:1 scale attracted 71,900 visitors in the National Day holiday.
Over 70 million passengers chose to tour in the countryside such as Changzhou Ririhong Farm, Jiangnan Farming Park, Qi & Liang Ecological Park, Bailu Mountain Ecological Park, Dashi Mountain Tourist Farm, Cuigu Villa, etc.
In addition, hot springs like Dino-Valley Hot Spring, Tianmu Lake - Yushui Hot Spring, Hentique Resort Spa and Tianmu Lake - Ming Tang Open-air Hot Spring received a total of 45,500 visitors.
