The fourth session of the 13th Jiangsu People's Congress (PPC) kicked off in Nanjing on the morning of January 26.
On the evening of January 25, the Changzhou Delegation held the first plenary meeting.
Fan Yanqing, former vice chairman of the CPPCC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, Wang Quan, director of Environmental Resources and Urban-Rural Development Committee of the Standing Committee of Jiangsu PPC, Xu Ying, director of CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee’s Cyberspace Affairs Office and deputy director of the Publicity Department, Jiang Jianping, former chairman of Jiangsu PPC’s Finance and Economic Committee, Liang Yong, chairman of Phoenix Publishing and Media Group (PPMG), Lai Maode, president of China Pharmaceutical University (CPU), Si Yong, secretary of Jiangsu Provincial Committee of Communist Youth League of China (CYLC), and Changzhou’s city leaders Qi Jiabin, Chen Jinhu, Zhang Chunfu, Ji Peidong, Dai Shifu and Han Xiaojun attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Qi Jiabin, secretary of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, was elected as head of the Changzhou delegation. Chen Jinhu, mayor of Changzhou Municipal People’s Government, and Ji Peidong, director of CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee’s Organization Department, were elected as deputy heads.
The delegation reviewed the draft versions of the list of members of the Presidium and the agenda of the meeting. All deputies were requested to abide by the protocol for prevention and control of COVID-19.
