On the afternoon of September 1, the Changzhou Charity Federation unveiled the "Tian'ai Caring Fund" in the Yonghong Subdistrict of Zhonglou District. The fund's establishment is intended to support various charitable projects, including the development of the Tian'ai Children's Rehabilitation Center, educational and employment support for individuals with autism, and vocational empowerment for autism support professionals.
During the event, Zhang Li, executive secretary of the Changzhou Charity Federation, and Lyu Pingxiang, director of the Yonghong Subdistrict Office, officiated the unveiling of the "Changzhou Charity Federation Tian'ai Caring Fund." A donation ceremony took place on-site, with Jiangsu Xinyang Construction Group contributing 2 million yuan to the fund. Hu Jinfang, deputy mayor of Zhonglou District, presented donation and honor certificates to Yang Zhaoming, chairman of Xinyang Group. The entire donation will be allocated for the renovation of the Yonghong Campus of Tian'ai Children's Rehabilitation Center.
Established in 2011 with the support of Zhonglou District People’s Government, the Yonghong Campus currently caters to over 140 students in training. After more than a decade of operation, the campus faced issues such as peeling wall surfaces and aging pipelines. To ensure the safety of students and staff and address these concerns, the campus initiated renovation in mid-August of this year. During the renovation, the Yonghong Subdistrict provided substantial support by offering a 2,000-square-meter temporary facility, addressing the urgent need to maintain normal teaching activities. This effort has added a touch of brilliance to the "People's Well-being" Yonghong signature.
