On Mar 9, Deputy Mayor Hang Yong met with a delegation led by Kent Lyu, regional director in central and eastern China from Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). The two sides exchanged views on how to further cooperation in service, trade and culture & media industries.
After a brief introduction of Changzhou’s economic development and the 14th Five Year Plan, Hang Yong pointed out that with a longtime cooperation mechanism in place, the two sides should expand fields of cooperation to achieve an upgrade of manufacturing and service industries.
HKTDC is a statutory body established in 1966 to promote, assist and develop Hong Kong's trade. The HKTDC organizes international exhibitions, conferences and business missions to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets. The HKTDC also provides up-to-date market insights and product information via trade publications, research reports and digital news channels.
During their stay in Changzhou, guests from HKTDC visited West Taihu Lake Film and Television Base and Huashi TV Changzhou company.
