Font:〖L M S

Chinese New Year, also known as Lunar New Year or Spring Festival, will fall on Tuesday, February 1 this year, starting a year of the Tiger.

Celebrations of Chinese New Year traditionally last up to 16 days, starting from Chinese New Year’s Eve to the Lantern Festival.

As a public holiday, Chinese New Year is one of the two major week-long holidays (often referred to as ‘Golden Week’), falling between January 31 (Monday) and February 6 (Sunday) in 2022.

January 29 (Saturday) and January 30 (Sunday) are designated as official workdays to partially offset the seven days off for Chinese New Year 2022.
