A survey conducted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, covering over 600 foreign-funded companies, indicates a growing confidence in the Chinese market.
According to the survey results, more than 70 percent of the companies expressed optimism about the development prospects of the Chinese market over the next five years. This marks an increase of approximately 3.8 percentage points compared to the previous quarter.
Moreover, over half of the surveyed enterprises stated that the Chinese market has become increasingly attractive, reflecting a 2.9 percentage point rise from the previous quarter.
Furthermore, a majority of the companies anticipate increased profits from investing in China over the next five years. Notably, 60 percent of these companies are from Europe.
The Chinese market still enjoys prominent comprehensive advantages in attracting foreign investment, said Zhao Ping, spokesperson of the council, citing favorable policies and a favorable investment environment, as well as China's high-standard opening-up endeavors.
