Starting from today, China's visa offices located abroad will resume issuing all types of visas to foreigners to facilitate cross-border travel. Additionally, foreigners possessing valid visas that were issued prior to March 28th, 2020 will be permitted to enter the country.

The department has also announced that it will resume the issuance of all types of port visas to applicants with lawful reasons, and visa-free transits will resume in several regions, including Hainan province.
