On September 12, the Changzhou Big Data Association was officially established. Representatives of 60 local big data companies attended the founding conference of the association. Zhou Yun, president of Changzhou Industrial Investment Group Co., Ltd., was elected as the first chairman of the association.

Liang Yibo, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and executive vice mayor of Changzhou, attended the conference.

Following the big data trends, Changzhou Big Data Association will, based on Changzhou’s situation, integrate different resources to set up professional committees in the areas of government affairs, industries, healthcare, culture and tourism, consumption and finance. In pursuit of an integration and upgrading of Changzhou’s big data industry, the association will actively promote the hosting of seminars on latest technologies and potential projects, as well as providing financing services for start-ups in the industry. In addition, the association is planning to hold the Big Data Development Forum to select and promote the city’s successful big data use cases.
