Cumulatively from January to December 2020, Changzhou’s general public budget revenue was 61.66 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.5%, according to the Municipal Bureau of Finance. The increase rate ranked first in Jiangsu province, said the bureau.

In 2020, the Municipal Bureau of Finance accomplished the targets and tasks for ensuring stability on six fronts (employment, finance, foreign trade, inbound investment, domestic investment, and market expectations) and maintaining security in six areas (jobs, daily living needs, food and energy, industrial and supply chains, the interests of market players, and the smooth functioning of grassroots government).

During the 13th Five-Year Plan period (2016 – 2020), Changzhou’s general public budget revenue retained an annual increase rate at 6.4%, demonstrating strength in maintaining financial stability.
