On the afternoon of April 24, Vice Mayor Wang Chengbin met with the four-member delegation headed by Mr. William B.Doggett, vice president of Public and Community Affairs, Eaton Corporation, in the Administration Center. Doggett is responsible for Eaton's federal, state and local government relations, as well as the company's charitable and community relations initiatives.

Eaton Corporation is a global diversified industrial manufacturer with 2002 sales of $7.2 billion that is a leader in fluid power systems; electrical power quality, distribution and control; automotive engine air management and fuel economy; and intelligent systems for fuel economy and safety in trucks. Eaton has 51,000 employees and sells products in more than 50 countries. Currently, Eaton has 28 manufacturing bases, nearly 20,000 employees and five R & D centers in China. Its sales in China has exceeded one billion U.S. dollars. In 2006, Eaton initiated its investment in Changzhou through the acquisition of Changzhou Senyuan Switch Co., Ltd. In 2012 it acquired Cooper Industries and increased the investment in Changzhou. At present, Eaton’s enterprises in Changzhou include Eaton Electric Equipment Co., Ltd., Cooper Yuhua ( Changzhou ) Electronic Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Cooper Electric ( Changzhou ) Co., Ltd.
