On November 12, a 14-member Indian media delegation visited the workshops of the United Auto Battery System Corporation and Auto Battery Corporation of SAIC Motor and CATL in Liyang, Changzhou to explore their R & D and manufacturing capabilities.

The delegation visited the production line and learned about the processing and assembly operations of new energy vehicle (NEV) batteries. After the visit, Mr. Rajeev Chaba, director and general manager of MG Motor India Pvt. Ltd., was interviewed by the media. Chaba said that in the Indian market, MG India supplies the best products and services from SAIC Motor, and has delivered 100,000 vehicles so far. It is reported that in the first three quarters of 2019, SAIC Motor has achieved exports and sales of 240,000 vehicles overseas.

Rachit Hirani, a reporter for MOTOR OCTANE, an Indian automotive media, said that the good business environment of Liyang left a deep impression on him. He hoped to have the opportunity to visit Liyang again in the future.
