A new direct flight route between Changzhou, Jiangsu province, and Tokyo, Japan, was inaugurated on September 21.
The outbound flights depart from Changzhou Benniu International Airport at 10:55 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, arriving in Tokyo at 15:00 local time. Return flights leave Tokyo at 16:00 and land in Changzhou at 19:00.
This direct connection significantly reduces travel time for passengers from Changzhou and nearby regions.
Changzhou and Japan share robust economic and trade ties, with frequent exchanges of personnel. Japan is currently Changzhou's second-largest source of foreign investment and its fourth-largest trading partner. To date, over 640 Japanese-funded enterprises operate in the city, with cumulative foreign investment exceeding $3 billion. Additionally, Changzhou has invested in 40 projects in Japan, with a total agreed investment of $110 million.
