The 2022 Discover Jiangsu Program had its opening ceremony in the Wujin district of Changzhou on the morning of September 6.

Bu Yu, deputy director-general of the Publicity Department of CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and director-general of the Information Office of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, Yang Jing, deputy director-general of Jiangsu Foreign Affairs Office, and Chen Zhiliang, director of the Publicity Department of CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, attended the opening ceremony.

A group of expats from culture, business and education sectors attended the event and toured Changzhou’s Wujin district.

They visited China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park (CICP), Wujing District Planning Hall, Wanbang Star Charge Technology Co., Ltd., and Liugong Changzhou Machinery Co., Ltd.

The participants also enjoyed the concert for China-Israel Innovation Cooperation Week and experienced the city’s time-honored culture by visiting the over 2,700-year-old Yancheng Ruins.

The Discovery Jiangsu Program, organized by the Information Office and the Foreign Affairs Office of the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, helps foreigners take tours around the province and engage in various experiences to learn more about the culture, history, environment, and economic development.
