On the morning of June 8, Ruhrpumpen (China) Co., Ltd., located in the Changzhou National High-Tech District (CND), officially commenced production for its second-phase project. The newly constructed facility spans approximately 7,000 square meters and has an annual capacity of around 200 sets of centrifugal pumps. Additionally, it houses the company's after-sales and spare parts center, as well as the relocated plunger pump business from the United Kingdom.
Founded in 1950 in Witten, Germany, Ruhrpumpen was acquired by Corporation EG in 1997, transforming into a global provider of pump solutions. In 2012, the company expanded its presence in emerging markets by establishing a modern manufacturing facility in Changzhou. Currently, CND, with its three subsidiaries of Ruhrpumpen, is evolving into the corporation's regional headquarters, actively engaging in technology transfer projects and spearheading advancements in the pump and valve industry.
It is worth noting that CND has successfully attracted several industry leaders, including Wilo, KSB, and Hydraforce, positioning itself as a significant player in China's pump and valve industry.
